コロナウィルスの話題で

全く気が付きませんでした

Recently, 

there was almost news about the coronavirus, 

so I didn't notice that at all.

うるう年は英語で

a leap year というようです

a leap year is "a leap year" in English

leapとは

跳躍する、跳ぶ　という意味だそうですね

”leap” means jumping.
