アカデミー賞

アカデミー賞の受賞式は

ABC放送で放映されるので

TVアンテナをつけている我が家でも

無料でみることができました

The 92nd Academy Awards ceremony was aired on ABC,

 so we could watch it for free even at home with a TV antenna.

なぜか

猫ちゃんも結果が気になるのか（笑）

しばらく見つめていました

Whether the cat wants to know the result, 

she has stared at it for a while.

作品賞、監督賞も受賞したのは

「パラサイト」という韓国映画でしたね

The Korean film called "Parasite" also won the award for the Best Picture and the directing.

アカデミー賞と言えば

まさにアメリカ映画って感じだったので

韓国映画が受賞したなんて

なんだか不思議な感じでした

Speaking of the Academy Awards, 

I was impressed with the impression of American cinema,

so the sight that the Korean cinema won made me feel strange.

日本映画も

いつか作品賞をとって欲しいです

I want some Japanese film to win The award of best picture.
