すき焼きのタレだけを買ってきました

My husband bought only sukiyaki sauce several days ago.

どうやら、すき焼きが食べたいと

アピールしているようです（笑）

Apparently, he is appealing to eat sukiyaki.

アメリカのスーパーには

薄切り肉が売っていないので

日系スーパーに買いに行くことにしました

Since American supermarkets don’t sell sliced ​​meat, 

we decided to go to Japanese supermarkets.

日本人が多く住むエリアに

2つ日系スーパーがあるので

2軒とも行ってみることに

Since there are two Japanese supermarkets in the area where many Japanese live, 

we decided to go to both of them.

1軒目の日系スーパーで

ちょうどすき焼き用の牛肉が安売りしていました

アンガス牛でした

とりあえず２パック購入

At the first supermarket in Japan, sliced beef for sukiyaki was for sale.

It was an Angus beef.

For the time being we purchased two packs of it.

そして2軒目

ここでもすき焼き用の牛肉が安売りしていました

アンガス牛ではありませんでしたが

脂身がそこそこあり美味しそう

ここでも２パック買うことにしました

And the second supermarket,

Here, too,sliced beef for sukiyaki was on sale.

It wasn't an Angus beef, but it had a lot of fat and looks delicious.

We decided to buy two packs here as well.

そして生で食べられる卵

これは日系スーパーでしか手に入りません

12個入りで＄5.99だったかな？

And raw eggs,

This is only available at Japanese supermarkets.

It was probably $ 5.99 with 12 pieces.

その晩

すき焼きを作って食べてみると

１軒目で購入したアンガス牛は

脂身が少なく、ちょっと硬くて残念

２軒目で購入したお肉は柔らかくて美味しかったです

That night

When we made sukiyaki and ate it, 

the Angus beef purchased at the first store had little fat and was a bit stiff.

The beef purchased at the second store was soft and delicious.

まだ生で食べられる卵があるので

卵がけゴハンが当分楽しめそうです☆

There are still eggs that I can be eaten raw, 

so I'm happy to be able to eat the eggs with rice.
